History
His father worked abroad a lot. He was a university lecturer who taught English in Japan. Before he left, he used to leave Wook poems. Although Wook barely undestood them, he tried saying these things and pronouncing them to his sisters. This wasn't rapping, but somehow, it took a turn when he was 15 and became rapping. He saw stars up on TV screens who were Korean like him, but were spewing English. He thought 'Hey! I kinda do that!' and so one of his sisters showed him some rap videos. Voila! He became inspired.
Growing up with 4 sisters who talked about their 'crushes' and 'boyfriends' a lot, he always wanted to know why they were so interested in them. One of his sisters, Yubin, liked to tell him about guys and what girls see/don't like in them. He became inspired to be the most attractive man!!! Well, not really. More like he saw how Yubin hated (and wanted to kill) the boys that let her down. Wook thought 'if I don't want that to happen to me, I'm gonna have to let anyone down. I need to be perfect!'. That thought sorta got forgotten after a while. He ended up just caring for his looks and his pride (godammit Yubin).
